• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How Many Miles Did You Go in 2020?

We have had our Spyder for two months today and have put around 1700 miles on it, the first week it never left the RV resort until I completed my trike training. Chris

~6,500 on Gold Wing
~4,800 on Spyder

...so...a little over 11,000, which is my first 10,000+ mile season. We had snow on the ground as late as May 9, so being a short season made this even more impressive. I own a cabin in northern NY, so I have multiple nice routes to take to get there, and the cabin serves as a good starting point to get to other areas of the state. Rode a lot in the eastern Finger Lakes and over towards Oneonta and Cooperstown this year. Only got as far into the Adirondacks as Old Forge. My 100-150 mile rides of the past turned into 200-300 mile rides this year. I did make it into PA for a few miles (Bradford), but 11,280 of my 11,300 miles were in the Empire State. For the second year in a row, we have had an extended riding season due to a warm, dry fall - by far the best time of year to ride in this part of the country.

Smile Miles

:coffee: Never enough of the wonderful Spyder 'Smile Miles'.

 ........Bring on the New Year....2021...

5000 on the Spyder
2600 on the Guzzi
2000 on the Yamaha
First year in many years we came in under 25,000, but with covid and some other issues it has been a nasty year. 2019 we actually had more days on the road than we did at home and I'm glad we did because 2020 has been the pits. Wife and I both retired early, have had reasonably good health, and didn't buy bikes for something to polish. We are blessed and hopefully 2021 will find us back on the road.

I only did about 3500 this year:yikes:!! Unfortunately, I have spent the last two summers dealing with knee replacements! But that's behind me now and I am on the mend, getting ready to retire, and hope to do some touring if this Corvet crap will ever subside. Mom and I, in one of our trips this year before I got chopped up went down around Conway, and rode threw the mountains. Conway was a ghost town, the only thing missing was the tumble weeds, darn shut down!!!!! Better days are coming!!!!

First year of riding, but thus far odometer 21450 an really enjoyed every inch.
Purchased new 2019 f3t in Jan 2019. Good choice. Only 74 yrs of age an looking forward to hitting road everyday I can. My guardian angel looks after me also.

I only put on approximately 5,000 miles this year (yes, I converted to miles) due to covid. No overnight trips....just local rides only. Started the year in Feb. due to weather and ended Nov. 30, same reason. With that said, it’s been a food year....I’m still reasonably healthy and still able to bitxh and complain.

I am super impressed with the milage that people are putting on. On most other sites, there are bikes that are 10+ years old, with under 15k miles on them. I bought my 2010 Vmax in 2019 with 35k miles on it. It was kept in the best of shape, and they guy who had it used it for riding on day trips and around town. At first I thought that was a lot of miles (compared to other bikes that I was looking at), then I realized that was less than 4k miles a year. Considering it looked better than bikes with 1/4 the milage, I took a chance. And I am so glad I did. Congrats to all the ground pounders out there.

Not for all of 2020, just since June of 2020 on my 2019 Ryker 900 ACE was 7,206 miles.

I got my 2020 spyder f3s ss in September 2020 with today's ride I have 3216 miles on it. I mostly get to to go for 1-2 hours per ride . Today was a great way to ring in the new year on the spyder because the roads were empty!

About 9500 miles since Feb the 2nd About 3000 on the BMW F800 ST and 6500 on the 2015 Spyder F3s i bought used in March. Was surprised i got that many miles for 2020. so many of my planned trips were cancelled for the virus. usually average about a little over 10000 a year on the BMW.

Honda NT 700V & 2015 Spyder RTL 22,212 miles

spyder has about 3,500 miles, didn't break actual miles out

this forum has the ability to track miles. it was the same software that nt-owners used until 2 yrs ago. i think its fun to post miles and see where others are. can be just spyder / rykers, or any motorcycle. just have to get admin to turn on and format it. i think its fun thing to do. i asked this question a while ago.......................................................and POLL

You are one lucky guy living where you do.. the roads all over the Black Hills are awesome to ride.. we make it to the Black Hills area every year and made Sturgis week this past year. with the good lord willing we will be back in 2021...
BIG F

I only put about 1600 miles on my 2020 Ryker 900 Ace this year. Only one major trip to an Oklahoma Rally and most just around the local area. I did some on my 2013 RT, but not sure how many as it is gone now.

2021 will be much better, I am sure.
