• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How fast have you driven you Spyder and under what conditions?

Was it a regular demo or a MFG. demo? The car companies used to( probably still do somewhat) tweak their magazine test cars to perform beyond what a production one could, because they were all doing it and no one wanted to be caught off guard. If it was a MFG. demo bike it could have been tweaked to go a buck fifty, but a run of the mill one would likely have to be headed down a very steep hill to hit that...IMHO.

top speed (so far)

I think I hit 110 in 4th gear passing a couple of cars, but I ususally keep it at about 100 mph tops since I had a bad bike wreck 6 months ago I havnt gotten my nerve to faster again

Just got Spyder today. Haven't been without a cage for 30 years. Up to 40mph on New Hampshire Road with Frost Heaves. WooHoo!!!! Spyder saved me from my idiocy twice while cornering. At least one of us has a brain. :2excited:

I just took it to trhe dealer today for the software update. On the way back, I had a customer to meet, I ran up to 95+ indicated. Felt stable and secure. Not sure about the buck 20 and above...but it gives me something to shoot for..

I've done 120 mph on I-43, there was a little bit more power but that was fast enough for me.

i saw what the spyder could do and I don;t plan on doing it again.

Spedo said 123 a couple months ago on the Pa turnpike. Was comming home from the other side of the state and was running ahead of a rain storm.
