• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How far out?

Mine was 1 3/4 inches, in on one side and out on the other. Mike Loescher of Spyder Comfort did mine and said it had a lifetime guarantee.

I don't remember the numbers... :opps:
But Ron Netzley aligned mine, and he said that it was "almost" close enough to not need much tinkering...
But one side was toed-out further than the other.

Both times..??

don't remember the figures. Squared Away did it both times but the second does confirm that messing with the rear wheel, changing shocks and front tires does mess with the alignment...

Mine was Laser Aligned by Lamont when it came off the Showroom floor at PitBull PowerSports and i had it checked at 7500 miles and it was still good.

On three Spyders, all were toe-out by about 1/8" in 6' - going to slight toe-in fixed tire wear and greatly improved the handling. The shop manuals state the measurement is +/- 3' from axle center line. The LASER alignment systems are a much greater distance (11 to 12'), which translates into higher possible precision.

I did our RS and ST; Mike Loescher, the LASER system inventor, did my F3 at the Deadwood Three Wheel Rally in Aug. The discussion I had with him about steering and alignment was worth more that the wheel alignment.

Mine was bout 1/2"in on both sides. Tracked good I thought glad I had done & will make yearly thing. Too bad no one local but more reason to spyderfest:thumbup::roflblack:

I don't think we have laser alignment here, wish we did though, not sure what can be done about alignment here in Mexico? Go to a car joint? or ?? :banghead:

Come on up - we can Square You Away! I doubt car equipment would work properly. Las Vegas is not too far, and as good as an excuse as any to visit our little city! Joe

Mine was out 1 1\4 inch. Had it done at Maximum Motorsports in Peru, IN. Was amazed at the differance it made.
