• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How far did you travel to get your spyder?

I believe i may be traveling about 10 hours to get a spyder RT, one of the salesmen at Pitbull powersports offered me the best deal trade in wise on my RSS, so i think i'm gonna have to figure out how to get it to them. Anyone else travel a long way to get your spyder?

I traveled 2 hours & 41 minutes to get my 2014RTS-SE6 from central Vermont to Derby Line, Vt. ( Walt's Sales& Service) Excellent sales and service, they got my2014RTS-SE6 in about 1 week, from when I called talked to them.

2012RTS-SE5 A/C 1 hour ( my first :spyder:)

I have the luxury of having 3 Can-Am dealerships with-in a 4 hour drive from me. Deanna

I traveled about 4 hours to get my RT-S. From Central Washington to Mt. Vernon, WA. just N. of Seattle. Best deal and pleasant people to deal with. Highly recommended.

TRAVEL

Whitetail, why not ride your RSS to Springfield? Look at the long range forecast and pick a 3 or 4 day time period when the weather will be mild and ride it out there and ride back your new RT!!

:agree: I had my RT shipped from Texas to N.C. If it had been only about 12 hours or less, I would have flown down and rode it home. But with it being too far, and me not being familiar with a spyder, I opted to have it shipped.

I used to have to ride 10 miles to my dealer, then I moved and I am now only 5 miles away. Downside, when I go for a long trip, I am a very long ways away.

2010 RT A&C: 56 miles (1 hour and 15 minutes)
2014 RT Limited: 54 miles (1 hour and 20 minutes)

I'm pretty fortunate to have five dealerships within 70 miles of my front yard... :2thumbs:

I need to do this within a weekend time period.I mean, I guess it could be done with riding the RSS out, but that bike is going to have killed my knees by then.

Nashville Ill. to Moretown Vt., .....1200 + mi................1,000,000 smiles :D:D:D:D:D 2014 ......Mike , Flew in ...drove it home

I go about 3 miles from my house to dealer ,it takes about 5 minutes to get there, the down side is I am always stopping by to look at the new ones

Not Very Far

About 50 feet, from my front door to the street.

I bought my 2012 RT-S SE5 from Louis Powersports in Greenville, TX and was lucky enough to find a guy that delivered it to my house for less money than I would have spent driving or flying there.

That was back on April the 7th of 2013. And now with over 28K miles, we are headed to Spyders on the Bayou come Wednesday morning.
