• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you...

Okay I've got a lot of projects going on with the bike or want to...I just have some road blocks and it is rather cold so I'm trying to find the easiest way to do these before I start.

No clue on this one: How do you remove the handle bar cover?

No clue here either: How do you install the ac jack on the console area?

Lastly, how do you remove the back wheel, do you have to take the back fender off?

i got some photos on my page

Well...bummer

I think the power outlet thing might end up being a bit much for me to do, and I bought two, one to put in the trunk to just charge stuff like laptop or whatever and one for the dash. For the powerbus, I'm just not sure I'd be able to do it. Does the powerbus sit on the outside of the bike (meaning do you see it)? I feel pretty confident doing all the other stuff, just not that or my alarm system.

Sounds fun...

The 2 screws closest to the Key are 10 mm , there are 4 other 8 mm, 2 on the tips and 2 towards the middle. You will need a long, slim 1/4 inch 8 mm socket, and a short slim line 10 mm 1/4 inch sockett. Putting them back IN is no picnic :gaah:unless your adding a 2-3 inch riser?:shemademe_smilie:

No risers, powder coating some things. Sounds like it is going to be a pain, but I'll get it done. Hopefully, my small hands will benefit me as they seem to have done wonders with other Can Am modifications, there are some tight spaces on this bike! I put the center tail light in without removing the undertail...just pulled the tail panel off and stuck it in there.

The Powerbus installs under the panels on the left side of your Spyder, from the battery to the trunk and underneath your dash display. When we bought the Powerbus kit's, they came with very complete instructions. They are made specifically for the Spyders and are truly "plug and play". If you're not 100% confident in installing it, maybe you have a friend who has basic handyman abilities. No special motorcycle tech knowledge is needed for the install.
