• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I jump start a 2020 RT - need basic level instruction/vids?

Bike has been sitting since July.. god damn mice found inside the front trunk… Won’t crank. Hoping I can just jump start it.

I’ve searched and can’t find any updates videos on how to do this? All videos I’ve seen are for 2012-13 models!

Just to make replies a bit easier, Scott&Suzy, how deep do you need to go? I.e. Do you know where the battery is and how to get to it? Do you have a power pack and cables, or does the jump have to be done from another vehicle?

Also, ChecK KILL Switch and Mode Button! One sometimes tends too forget after a period of time.

Sadly I need the someone to break it down Barney style! I don’t have any fancy packs. I may have to just buy a new battery? I would end up having to jump it with my diesel truck. Can someone post a video of where the battery is located and how to get to it? I see the fuse box inside the front trunk…

KISS - IMHO start with the least expensive option ..... Take jumper cables - connect to car or trk battery ( correctly ) leave veh ... OFF connect the Spyder battery .... try to start it .... if this fails, make sure you actually have current flowing thru the system, does it even try to start ???? .... if yes have battery LOAD - TESTED ( it's free at most auto parts stores ) let us know what happened ....
