How bad it is without fenders?

Hi guys, as I am rYding these days without front fenders and also I am rYding without rear fender ever since I have bought TheBeast. Here is a new video about, how bad it is in WET.

Well you will get soaked and dirty ...... If you don't have them on - what are hoping to achieve as a benefit ????? ..... In the USA it could be illegal in some jurisdictions ..... Mike :thumbup:

I think spraying other drivers and causing them to have problems with visibility is why. Also throwing up rocks and other debris can do damage.

I think sometimes people do these things just because, no reason beyond just wanting to. That might not be the case here but maybe it is.

Before I bought mine and was looking I saw some in the Tampa area without fenders. Doesn't make sense to me, I'm old and don't like to get wet. Somewhat a fair weather rider, don't leave home in the rain. Same with golf, don't start in the rain. Could be an age thing.

Ive seen a few F3's and Rykers without rear fender. It looks cool, but the tradeoff for functionality/protection isnt worth it for me personally.

WHY you guys read the subject and then comment baed on that?

rear is pretty clear why. It looks much more cool and I was removing rear fenders since I was a small kid on my bikes, and I have moved all visibility parts there.
Front is explained WHY

you know, you are right and also wrong.
My spraying, its nothing compared to me driving my car that is "stock" on stock big a...wheels.
compare spyder rider to any bigger car with wide wheels and this comment is not very relevant

Nice video Martin. In my younger days I enjoyed fenderless hot rods but not so much now. I was interested in your diagram of the spray flow at speed. How wet do you think your rain gear got?

My rain gear is super wet always, but mostly because I have no windshield. Man, I was rYding new RT in the rain. Jeezus that is so sweet.

I have a GS without front fenders at the moment, but don’t ride in the rain. They got smashed during a loading process so took them off until I can get replacement. I kinda like the look, but again it’s a sunny day rider. I can imagine the rooster trails the front tires would kick up on me and traffic behind me!
