• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Houston/San Antonio/Austin Meet/Eat Details

Glynnk,

Are you guys taking I-10 to 71 or are you going cross country on 159 or another route?

Chris

I will let Glenn decide since he already did some exploring, it may be good idea to pick the scenic route when we come back with a larger group. Are you still coming a bit later or would you join us in Brookshire?

Chris--I was thinking about going 359 out of Brookshire then to 529 through Bellville and on to 159 into La Grange. Would a different route be more conveinent for you?

Great meeting today, a total of 8 Spyders. All models, colors and possible mods!

We had trm17118 and better half, Brevet05 and Ghost_Ryder representing San Antonio and Glynnk, Batmobile, Ozzie, Steve and me from Houston. Great food in La Grange at the Prause Meat Market (a tip from our buddy Little John that is still recovering). Gread conversation too. Lets do it again:2thumbs:

I also had a great day today. It was great to meet with like-minded folks, and to watch others interact with their admiring public. As a relatively new rider, I learned a lot! I'm looking forward to our next get-together.:2thumbs:

I've eight photos, here are the first five:

More still. I got some good ideas about future upgrades thanks to up close and personal observation and recommendations from you all.

Missed it :(

I haven't been to the board in a while and missed the whole darn thing! Let me know what you come up with for October. --- Maybe a visit to Snow's BBQ in Lexington?

If we have some riders coming from the Austin area then Lexington would be a good idea. If it's just SA and Houston again then maybe a trip to Victoria would be about the same distance for all of us. Don't know of any good restaurants in Victoria so I'd be open to ideas. What dates work for all of you in October?

Only bad weekends for me is October 24th-25th and 31st. The weekend of October 31st is the Lone Star Rally in Galveston and the Houston bunch was thinking about riding down to that.

Put something together and I'm sure the Houston folks will turn out.
