• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ed--How bout the Burger King at bus.249 and 2920? We should be there by 9:20-9:30.

P.S. hate that I'm missing the Christmas parade this year

Sounds good to me, might be missing the parade myself this year due to trying to meet an unexpected family need, will know more tomorrow. Looking forward to this ride, need some time on the spyder, therapy you know, slipping in the wind always relieves stress. LOL

Glynn, have you thought about any particular rout, and are we planning on meeting up with any of the other spyder riders for the ride there?

Ed--
Had thought about two stops after Tomball-- 1) 242 and I-45 South of Conroe at a Shell station (take Gosling up to 242). At this point, it doesn't appear that we'll be picking up anybody at that stop; if that's the case, then I thought about going up 2878 to 1488 and over to I-45. Then take I-45 up to loop 336 South around Conroe over to 105. 2)Then 105 to Cleveland, which would be stop 2 at a Valero on 59 and 105. I'm not sure we'll be meeting anybody there either, but we'll probably need a gas/bathroom break about then. Then head up 59 to Goodrich and take 1988 to 146 then to 190 and on into Woodville. According to Google maps there's a short cut from 146 over to 190 by going down Jack Nettles road and then to 190. The problem is that I can't tell if it's a paved road. If we go this way, we'll see what it looks like. If it's questionable we can just continue on 146 to 190.

If you have any suggestions about another way to get there I'm game to following what you might have in mind. We'll be meeting at least one couple from Tyler and several from the Beaumont area in Woodville.

At the Randall's meet I anticipate Don from Katy, Twain from Stafford, and Cypress folks, Joy (Yazz), Billie and Wayne and Rick and Bonnie and Reagan Walters. So it looks like we'll have a pretty good crew.

Where would be a good place to meet :chat:.

242/59 is a Flying"J". easy on/off :ohyea:.

Top off tank and head-out..

The route that I plan on taking puts us at 59 in Cleveland. Got a possible stop on I-45 at 242 at a Shell station on the East side of I-45 if anybody from the area wants to join up there. If nobody indicates they want to meet there, we'll go up to 1488 over to I-45. Then up I-45 to Loop 336 around Conroe to 105 then on into Cleveland. Any place along that way convenient for y'all to meet us?
