.....besides, it tastes like donkey piddle! :roflblack:Pauly 1 : Neat formula which I never heard of. I certainly will use that as a guide when summer heat blazes. Gatoraide replaces lost electrolytes I'm told but as a diabetic I need to watch sugar which Gatoraid has.

Might I suggest an electolyte beverage mix called Endura. Comes in lemon/lime and orange and is the real deal not just sugar water with a bit of salts.
Always carry a few bottles of waters in your trunk as you never know when you could get stuck in traffic or have a breakdown

Exact same thing happened to me on my way back from Cuba, MO last year.I learned the hard way a few years ago. I got the t-shirt and a trip to the ER. I was at the Vintage Races at Barbers and didn't drink the right things during the day. Just south of Indy on the way home that night I started to feel what I thought was abdominal cramping so I made a quick pitstop and continued onto my hotel. Several hours later the pain hit and I rolled up into a fetal position. A trip to the ER showed I had developed a kidney stone.
