• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hot spot on my pipe

About 700 miles into the trip I noticed a hotspot on my pipe where the paint has burned off. Not too happy about that. Guess I'll be making some phone calls in the morning. Anyone else have that?

It seems like just about everyone is getting the "hot spot" on their exhaust after putting on some mileage. Not only limited to 40 something women's..."hot flash"

Please let us know how the phone call goes on the hot spot. That's rather annoying. At any rate, I'm glad you got your tryke :a18:

The good news is BRP saw this post and they contacted me.

It may be the first of the year before they can work something out. In the meantime I'll keep paint on it. ::)

Check out the Can-Am talk forum. There is a lengthy thread there about this issue.

Another person blew paint off in the car wash. He took all the paint off and buffed it up. All shiny and not bad looking that way either.
