• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Horizontal opening below the windshield arm

I have a 2015 RT-S and noticed a Horizontal opening, approx 2-3 inches long below the windshield arm. Besides being able to gobble up nuts and bolts that come too close, what is the purpose of this slot? Would it be possible to use to run power to devices that are on the dash (i.e. easy access to battery or fuse block mounted in Frunk)?

Let me know you thoughts......

Just as long as you remember that when you put the windshield down ................ the bracket comes down also and fills that opening.

Thanks Joe....I had thought of that. For my bike with the windshield all the way down, I still have space. I have no idea if I can thread a wire down through that slot and be able to meet up with the battery. Just don't know what lives behind that void.

Find out when your dealer is going to put another RT together and get him to let you look at it before they put the frunk on it and you will get a good idea of what lies inside.

I used this opening to run my XM radio antenna and a wire for my idiot light.
