• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Hoping everyone is taking advantage of this mild December

Thought that the riding season was over but this past weekend, we got a nice surprise here in Kentucky. Mild temps allowed us to get out and ride around Lake Cumberland. Hope each of you were able to get some extra rides in also!

What "mild December"? It is 30* here and snowing like there's no tomorrow. I woke up to 8" in the drive way shoveled that off and had 2" more by the time I was done. The snow was coming down so fast that the heated sidewalks at work couldn't keep up with it. Winter is here and looks like it is going to stay for awhile. Pictures to follow.

No mild weather in the southwest. We rode to Mesa, AZ on Saturday for a party and it was a bit chilly. We had to scrape ice off our bike seats on Sunday morning. Brrrrr.

I'm going to blame our cold snap on AKSpyderman who is coming to town today. Last time he came to Las Vegas in December he brought similar weather with him.

Still riding

Still riding at weekends here in the UK. People do say to me don't you get cold and wet? My response is I wrap warm and I bought the spyder knowing that I will get wet and cold. However I will not ride in the snow, on ice and salt grit roads.

Did about 180 miles Saturday, rained today so I played with a brake extension for my RT. Hope to try it out tomorrow. Looks like maybe a couple more days of short rides the next few days then it is supposed to get cold. I'm just happy for the extended season considering that I just bought my RT last week. If I get another 1-200 miles on it before putting it away for the winter I'll be a happy boy.

I rode three days last week. Then we got almost two inches of rain Saturday night through last. Now the bottom is falling out and our highs are in the low forties. May be done now till March. Depends on when they finally put salt/sand on the road.

Rode what i think is my last one today.... Put in the Sta bil and with cover the pipe and put the tender on tomorrow.... Only had it 2 weeks but was a blast so far.:spyder:

Figures, this is the first year in a while that I reduced the insurance coverage to save a couple of bucks so the good weather has been no real advantage to my riding.
It's also raising heck with our upcoming sled season.

Some lowland flooding...

We just had about two days of solid rain... not real heavy thunder-boomer rain, but constant light rain and fog. Now a couple of the major waterways are out of their banks and causing some lowland flooding. Next we get a few days of normal temps with highs only in the low and mid 30s.

I am jealous of y'all that are still riding.:sour: ...but glad some can enjoy some miles in this mild December. :doorag:

Had a nice weekend

I put over 120 miles on over the weekend just doing short local rides. It rained nearly all day yesterday but will stay dry today so I might take one more local run before topping off the gas tank for cold storage. It's supposed to be more like winter here this coming weekend temperature-wise but no snow.

I've done more ridding this month than I have in the last couple years. Just bought an almost new 2014 RT Limited and I'm lovin it. Anyway looks like tomorrow the 16th may be about the end of the riding season for me. Hope the weather guessers are wrong and we get some more global warming. 50 degrees and up and I'm going riding.
