• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hope it's just an adjustment

Picked up my new RT-SE5 last Friday. Everything was fine for the first day, but then it started occasionally bucking and stalling when stopping, not every time, but frequently enough to be bothersome.

Called the dealer, told me they had a flash update for the software that would fix the problem, then he checked, my bike had been updated before I picked it up.

I now have a little over 400 miles, and it seems to be getting a little worse every time I ride. I hope this is just an adjustment that can be done during the 600 mile service. Since it's not the software, anyone have any ideas?

Mike,
This is just what happened to mine. Read all the creep/stall threads in the RT SHOP TALK section. It explains a little better what the problem is and what you should know when taking it to the dealer. I understand there is a really good one in Tampa. I am on the "other coast" of Florida and mine is still in the shop :(

I was told you shouldn't keep driving it. It won't go away... They have to change out some bearings.

Hope this helps,
Dana

I talked to my dealer (which I believe is the really good one in Tampa) and the service manager said it was (I think) roller bearings in the centrifugal clutch. He has them on order and will hold a set for me. This is the BRP fix. He thought that if I manually down shifted into first it might solve the problem until I get it in. Took a short ride and this seems to help, but it's hard to tell.

Thanks for everyone's help...

Mike
