Scotty, that is great news!! Hey I know you and Nancy have no desire to go the BRP event in Chicago, but I was wondering would you like to ride a ways with us as far as lunch at Portillos? You are right on the way, it wouldn't be much to make one more pick up. Lunch is just south of Gary IN so it would only be a few hours ride back as well. Just thinking about ways for you to get some miles on your spyder and get in some riding with other spyders at the same time.

Both Carlo and Kurt have tried real hard to get us to come to Chicago. I ran it by Nancy again and again, but she does not feel confident enough to try. She has only been riding again for a short while now, after laying off almost completely for a year plus, due to her health issues. She said she might consider riding two-up on the RTS...if she could manage to close her eyes from Michigan City through Chicago. I told her that was pretty silly...and probably unsafe.

I will run your proposal by her, and see what she says. After our trip to and from the dealer on I-94 yesterday during rush hour, she may want to move to the UP...LOL. I-94 has become quite insane! Everybody wants to win, and they draft like they are on the last ten laps of the Daytona 500. I like Firefly's idea of taking US 12.
