• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I made it home... was able to run around the rain.101 fever thanks to my walking pneumonia....now I can rest up and get better.

Everyone else sound off. Let us know you are safe. Miss all of you already!

Home safe and sound

Spyderwolf and me left around 9:30 this morning with a little drizzle.
We were able to out run the rain to the most part. I made it home about 11am.
I had a great time this weekend, will do it again.

Catniption and I made it home. Most of the way was in a total downpour; even a little hail (very small, thank goodness!).

It was great meeting you two girls and what beautiful spyders you have. It's too bad that they couldn't have given several first place prizes because I feel that yours and Mikes were top notch.

Hope to see ya'll again.

Chris

zzneonzz and us (me, wife and 3 doggies) made it to Memphis just fine. Got rained on the way out, but once past Nashville it turned out ok. And neon's :spyder2: made it back with the same amount of oil!!:D

Aw, thanks! It was great to meet so many nice folks from here! I hope we can see you soon again, too.

Yeah, I wish there had been more prizes... perhaps a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place or something, even if no money involved... not for myself (even tho I was a little disappointed, I knew that I couldn't compete with a 3-month paint job, lol), but Michael has put SO much time and effort into his Spyder! I thought he deserved better, too. Plus, he is one darn great dude.

Made it to Charlotte without hitting rain, rode the last two hours in pretty much soup. IT'S ALL GOOD !

What a Blast....

Home safe and after 600 miles, got to within four blocks of my house before it started raining - however since ambient temp on the bike had been showing 108 degrees for over 300 miles I was longing for some rain....

I posted in another thread but I'll add mine here. I just went out and checked the trip odometer which I set in Maggie Valley when we left yesterday morning at 05:00. The ride to our driveway was 680.4 miles. This included the detour around Cincinnati and all of our of again, on again stops due to gas and weather. The rain was blinding at times and it took 13.5 hours to get home instead of 10.5 or 11 hours that it should have been. Sometimes the clouds and rain were so dark it seemed like night time again. I do believe we were rained on for almost 8 hours of this trip home. I now officially dislike rain, at least for riding. To make it even worse, it was only about 64 degrees most of the way so we were chilled as well as wet. Be we got home last night and packed up the dogs and went to Brian's folk's house for the last part of Father's Day. I hope to hear from more of the MI SpyderLovers and the northern riders soon. I know there was some extreme weather we all had to ride through.

Am still in Maggie Valley area. will be going to Raleigh next then back thru Tn to Mo. So far I have been in some REALLY heavy rain :gaah:BUT on the front porch of the campground manager.:( Rain here has stopped me from taking the really neat looking rydes:(:gaah:. and now it's time to move on. HAVE GOT TO COME BACK AND DO THESE ROADS!!!!!!!!!
