• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Going to try to post a picture for the first time. Does anyone else like this look? I think it makes the Spyder look tough.

Nicely done Mo Lee. The most important thing is that you like it though. We all have different taste and ideas. I think it looks nice even though I wouldn't do that to my spyder. Of course there are many people that wouldn't want the paint job I have either but I love it and that is what counts. Your spyder looks great so go and enjoy it and thanks for sharing. By the way, you said, home made, elaborate please., oh yeah, welcome

Hey Mo! :congrats:welcome I like it on the fenders not sure about the nose. As long as you like it thats all that matters. i have an idea i have not seen yet but that does not mean it has not been done it's to buy that chrome trim that some people put on car door edges well take that idea and apply it to the spyder edges. what do you think. :chat:

Polished diamond plate from the hardware store. I made a pattern, transfered it to the metal, cut it on the bandsaw, and then shaped it to fit. It is attached with 3m molding tape and has been tested to 85mph. I've made accessories for my Valkyries this way and I thought the Spyder needed a little chrome look.

I got into the diamond plate thing hot and heavy in the 80's. It started with one little piece and nine 4' by 8' sheet's later I had my whole truck covered. nojoke Becarful with that stuff, it can get addicting and cost you some big bucks trying to find a polish that will clean it easy. :yikes:
