Home from the SITR

We had a great trip to and from the SITR this was Ellies first long trip on her bike as a driver 1,600 miles and we had a great ride . The second day on the way down we had a 200 mile detour due to Fires along the Klamath River , so we did not arrive into Eureka until 5:30 Monday . But after that
everything went great . The dog trailer worked great and even Trina had a great ride and met new friends .

I didn't get to meet you because we were always working but I loved the dog trailer. What is the brand and is it available in larger sizes? I've got full sized dogs and they wouldn't fit in the model you have.

I think the company is no longer in business , It was called K-9 Krates , our dog is a English Setter and the box is 30" wide X 30" tall X 40" deep . There are a number of dog trailer companies that can make them . Look at the companies that make the large trailers for the Hunting clubs and trainers . Ous is insulated and is built the same way they make refrigerator trailers , fiberglass and aluminum panels . We found ours on Spider Lovers for sale forum and bought it from some folks in Michigan that were moving to Arizona and were selling their Spyder .

glad you had a good trip even with the detour. Congrats on the first long ryde mine was also 1,800 miles and most enjoyable. Did not meet you but did see the trailer scooting about...:2thumbs:hyea:

My wife and I had the pleasure of riding with y'all up to the canyons on Tuesday. I just wanted to say thank you again for making that day so enjoyable! We thought it was terrific ride and it looked like all 3 of you had a good time too. We were missing our dogs and seeing how yours was having fun and our being able to pet her from time to time got us by...

Ellie and I had a great ride Tuesday and meeting and making new friends was the best part of the ride .
