I still contend that a murderer, rapists should be tried within 30 days... if found guilty they should be exterminated within 48 hours... that would solve our nation's problem of coddling "criminals" while ridding planet earth of trash... !!

Orange... The $50,000 per year is for non-death row prisoners. The $1 million is for those one death row. Remove the death penalty and you no longer have death row... Thus saving $950,000 per prisoner per year. Get it now?

i have been trying to stay out of this post, but when i just saw a lil 4 year old girl that was shot and killed by him i just have to say something. i do believe in the death sentence, a eye for a eye as they say. unless he was judged to be really mentally ill. but he knew what he was doing. and if it was one of my family that he killed i would volunteer to shot him or push the drugs into his system. i envy the people that can turn the other cheek and say i forgive you.

Hey cuz.... Do you actually know what 'an eye for an eye' means or where it comes from? It came from the biblical teaching of Jesus and while I don't prescribe to biblical doctrine, the 'eye for an eye' one I find to be a good one. It does NOT mean you're supposed to TAKE an eye for an eye.... Like Jesus ever would have taught such a thing.
It's actually about GIVING your eye to someone should you cause them to lose one. How Murika twists such things to mean the complete opposite is amazing.

to be honest i never knew what you said, Holmes was sentenced to life in prison yesterday. what they should of done is give him the death sentence and as they injected him, they should of made him watch the movie all the people went to see as the stuff went through his veins.... just my opinion

dam.... I would volunteer to shoot him with a 30.06... bullets cost about 50 cents and I will pay for the cartridge... that's a lot cheaper than housing, feeding and taking care of him for the rest of his sorry life..
