There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Holmes found guilty

I agree. Unfortunately they will probably have him in solitary, so we can't hope for a prison "accident".

it's a shame that once the judge gives him the death penalty that he just can't stand up and shoot the creep

Wow. I thought we were supposed to be better as a country than this? Without due process of the law, we have nothing. I for one would prefer he be locked up for life....which is cheaper than executing him. 'We the people' shouldn't be in the revenge business. I'm proud Michigan was the first in the nation to abolish capital punishment back in 1847..... Before we ever executed anyone.
This individual is sick and needs to be kept away from others for sure.
My concern is how do nuts like this get guns in the first place?

if he was found guilty by reasons of insanity i would say spare him. but he knew what he was doing. he put up a good show in court just staring at everything but with all the tests he had not one doctor other than the defense's said he was normal

Hopefully someone will humanely kill this scum very soon....

Edit: I like bob's idea....

I don't know for sure how much it costs to execute a felon... but I do know it costs $160,000.00 per year to house a prisoner... I doubt it costs more to execute someone.. but this worthless POS.. the criminal justice system should execute him by firing squad at sunrise tomorrow ! i'll gladly volunteer to be on the firing squad ... WHY SHOULD TAX PAYERS BE BURDENED BY PAYING TO KEEP THIS WORTHLESS POS ALIVE ?????

how the hell did it take so long to find him guilty
need to get the death penalty, lethal injection from a clorox bottle. use a crack heads needle, no need to worry about aids the bleach
will kill it among other diseases.

Here's some more info for those interested.

Funny how many who claim to be pro-life also support the death penalty.
Pertaining to such a case taking so long.... Can you even grasp the magnitude of such a trial? Mess it up and the perp will walk ( OJ Simpson anyone?)

Also, while this case is pretty cut and dried, many are not. We've executed many innocent people over the years. We're the only major industrialized country that still uses this barbaric practice.
We have the best legal system on the planet.... Things like due process and habeas corpus are key to it being the best. The system has never been about revenge.
I'm not defending this deranged kid at all, but 'we the people' putting him to death doesn't fix anything, nor does it deter crime. So the only purpose left is revenge. Why lower ourselves to that barbaric level. Also cracks me up how American Christians tend to support the death penalty. SMH. Who would Jesus execute?

Dan,
But this guy AIN'T innocent...
There's no chance that he didn't do it, and he appears completely devoid of remorse for his actions.
Even if your $50,000 per year amount is correct; it's only going to continue to climb, and this :cus: could live for more than 30 years on our dollars... :gaah:
And while you're on the whole 'Pro-Life, and Pro- Death Penalty" tirade... Please try to remember that an unborn child hasn't yet become a criminal...
(For the record: I am NOT a follower of the "Pro-Lifers"...)

Well, I guess I'm barbaric.

It indeed costs more to execute than locking them up. The previously stated $160,000 per year fee for locking a prisoner up is incorrect... The current figure is more in the $50,000 range.

it appears you forgot about all the other costs incurred .. by your own posting here are the real costs : if you read your entire article.. a death penalty defendant costs the state/U.S. over one million per prisoner.. far cry from $50,000... read the actual costs below.. our president just put out a figure that our penal system costs the taxpayers over $80 billion per year ... pretty hefty price tag to pay for "un-fit's of humanity" I still contend that a murderer, rapists should be tried within 30 days... if found guilty they should be exterminated within 48 hours... that would solve our nation's problem of coddling "criminals" while ridding planet earth of trash... !!

While the death penalty is the most final of punishments it's far from a quick process. And using a 2006 study by the state bar association the costs add up. For example
"A defendant facing the death penalty is entitled to two attorneys, of course the costs for defense attorneys are higher", says Joann Moore, Director of the Washington State Office of Public Defense.
Add prosecution costs, defense costs, then appeals and the cost is over one million dollars more than non-death penalty cases.
Trial Attorneys $467,000
Court Costs $70,000
Appeals $100,800
Personal Restraint
Petition $152,900
Habeas Corpus
Petition $238,000
Misc. Petitions ?
= $1,028,700+ MORE than a non-death penalty case
