• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hindle...

Here's a pic of my hindle...what I consider to be a MUST for all Spyders...I know there are a lot of pipes out there...I'm very happy with the Hindle and I like how there' are no special needs for calibrating it to the bike...it adds some noticeable HP and the sound is loud but not annoying to everyone within 3 blocks!

Great investment...great modification...for $430.00 delivered, IMHO, it's the only way to go...

:2thumbs: When I was at the dealer Friday afternoon having my oil changed, I listened to the Spyder demo w/the Hindle. It was good hearing it again. It re-affirmed my thoughts about getting one, too. Great sound! Great look - the best look in my opinion!

I agree. Changing the exhaust is a must to help bring out the potential of the Rotax and I'm glad to see the price is coming down but I still think most motorcycle exhausts are rediculously priced. Other than time I literally only have $83 in my polished stainless exhaust and it sounds phenominal.

Spydyr, your exhaust looks great, what is that muffler? I assume you also changed the pipe from the motor to the muffler? What pipe did you use?
Nice job, it really looks good. How loud is it?

i have hindle on my spyder also and it makes spyder sounds like mean machine it is. paid 440 off of ebay and same seller sold me fog lights for 270. i felt it it is just loud enough and not TOO loud

The muffler is a Ractive 605 2 3/8" universal polished stainless steel tuner muffler. The pipe is a MagnaFlow 10706 2.5" stainless 90 degree mandrel bend elbow. I had it flaired to fit over the stock collector and had it tig welded to the muffler. I thought it was loud until my neighbor got a 107ci Harley and now I realize it isn't very loud and definitely not obnoxious. It sounds awesome with a deep tone and never crackles or backfires.
