• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Highway Peg Alternative RS-S

Hi All;

Installed these as highway pegs for the RS-S. Here's what I used each side:

  • 2 1/2" long x 1/2" dia S.S. bolt
  • 2 split washers
  • 2 - 2" square flat washers w/ two sided tape to better secure to bracket.
  • #7573 Magnum peg Mount by Kuryakyn
  • #7560 Trident Small Pegs by Kuryakyn

Info: I weigh 160 lbs w/ a size 9 boot

Just completed a 600 mile round trip and thought they worked well. A few items to note:

  1. [*=1]Used just a few times to give old knees a break
[*=1]May not work with larger boot sizes
[*=1]Wifey can use driver pegs to stretch out for a little while
[*=1]A little bit "bouncy" when going over uneven pavement, but pretty solid otherwise.

What you all think?? Likes or dislikes.

Interesting....🤔

Well done and a nice set up.:2thumbs: just have to watch the weight on them. Those foot guards are not that sturdy but knowing that should work well...

Thnx

Thnx. I only used it couple of times on the last trip and it worked well.

You can also rest your heel on driver pegs and toe on added peg, so as not to put too much weight on the bracket if you're worried about bracket
A little bit of forward foot position goes a long way.
