• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Higher ground....

Do you happen to know where and when this was ???? ...... Mike :bbq:
Mike,
It looks like the bridge into Eureka Springs. Same is true for the bridge in Devil's Elbow, MO which was one of the rides @Spyderfest. Pictures of I-44 underwater in St. Louis were posted on FB tonight.
I hope the MOGANG gives serious consideration to rescheduling Spyderfest to a drier part of the year, since the last 2 years were severly impacted by heavy rain.

I wouldn't mind a second phase of spyderfest tho to help round out the end of riding season:dontknow: Help balance out the vendors & spyders that could not show for whatever reasons:coffee: Rain happens just know how to be safe in it:firstplace:

Or on a ship. How about one year we could all go on a cruise. Spyderfest Cruise on the good ship Lollypop! The Hog group has several--Let the Captain do the driving and we could do the drinking and talk about Tires and Oil Brands! Mike could be our guest speaker and Bob could set up a Insurance Kiosk. I'm tired I think I will go to bed.

Mike, I seem to recall pictures like the ones of of bykes crossing that bridge from Spyderfest maybe on Facebook. Do they not call that bridge something like the Missouri Golden Gate?

From experience in my previous life, I would guess that the dates of the event are somewhat dictated by the availability of BRP equipment and personnel. Don't they have a BRP tent or people there?

The pictures appear to be of the Beaver Bridge that is north of Eureka Springs on Hiway 187. They are driving from east to west. The flood picture is looking east.

Lamonster is having Spyders in the Ozarks in September. I have already made my Reservations. I just hope the repairs to the roads and bridges have been made by then.

This is the Meramac River which divides St. Louis county and Jefferson county south and west of St. Louis. I lived about a mile from the river outside of Arnold, Mo. for several years. It flooded once in a while, but never like this. Lots of homes on the banks of this river.... I suspect many are gone. I was on a hill and could look down on the river.

That rain is hitting here in Ohio. I've got puddles in my yard, but nothing in the basement....so far. Lake Erie has rolling white caps at the present. Almost everyone's docks are under water. It ain't pretty!!!

See kngfsh27 post: that bridge is just north of Eureka Springs, AR, on AR187. We've been across it many times.
