High-pitched whine?

Picked up my 2013 RT yesterday :clap:New to riding and spyders - pretty cool. Anyone know what the high-pitched whine is all about? This seems to continue for 20 minutes after turning off the machine. At first I though I had a tire puncture, but it eventually stops. It will also stop if I turn the key back on to "accessory". Thats perfectly normal on all RT Spyders.

I have the same Spyder as you. The whine is a normal part of the shutdown process and will continue for around 40 minutes and then stop. I can't give you the technical explanation for it but they do reference it in your Operator's Guide. Hope this helps.

It is the ECM holding the throttle plate shut to prevent hot restart problems. Perfectly normal...you'll get used to it.
