• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High-pitched whine?

Picked up my 2013 RT yesterday :clap:New to riding and spyders - pretty cool. Anyone know what the high-pitched whine is all about? This seems to continue for 20 minutes after turning off the machine. At first I though I had a tire puncture, but it eventually stops. It will also stop if I turn the key back on to "accessory". Thanks, Greg

I have the same Spyder as you. The whine is a normal part of the shutdown process and will continue for around 40 minutes and then stop. I can't give you the technical explanation for it but they do reference it in your Operator's Guide. Hope this helps.

It is the ECM holding the throttle plate shut to prevent hot restart problems. Perfectly normal...you'll get used to it.
