Hello to all, I am brand new to the Spyder bikes. I just picked up my new to me 2013 Rts Spyder. I drove it home from the dealer and parked in the garage. It was about a 150 mile trip home. It does ride much different from a two wheel bike as I have read here on numerous posts. My question to all of you is this. After I parked in the garage I could hear a faint high Piercing whistle coming from the bike. It lasted about 15 to 20 minutes. I read through the manual and didn't find anything relating to the whistle. ANY idea what would cause it?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It actually lasts for 40 minutes and it's normal. Mentioned somewhere in your owner's manual. Most people don't hear it. The throttle bodies are being held shut to prevent a hot start problem.
