• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HID headlight out, anywhere local to get one?

Got one of my HID headlights out, (purchased from Nomagicneon), and would like to find a replacment bulb here in Tampa if possible.
I left Evan a message, but if I can avoid waiting that would be a better solution for me. I have already swapped out the ballast, etc to test and its the bulb gone bad.
I really hate to even change that bugger, it was one of the biggest PITA jobs to date lol.

To add to this, I think I have found the bulbs, but not the same wiring. I think I can just cut the bad bulbs red/black wires and splice a replacent bulb in, therefor using the same ballast? Yes, or is it thought I might fry things?

OK, for anyone else that might get a burned out HID headlight, I got it fixed cheap.
Went down to Barnies of Brandon and Trey over there had the exact 8000k bulb with the correct connectors already in stock. Cost a whole $12, was nearly a plug and play.
One the road again......
