• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New to the forum, hope to be a new Spyder owner

Hi from North Carolina.

Long time 2 wheel rider but have been out of the game for a while due to leg issues. I tried a friends HD Freestyle (loved the look and sound) but it just did not feel right to me. Looking at getting back into it with a Spyder F3. I'm 6'4" with long legs so seems like the F3 is going to be the most comfortable for my frame.
Just recently started looking so any advice is welcome and particularly as it pertains to accommodating a tall rider.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum Yawnsky24. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders in the different areas of the forum. If you have any questions just ask in the area of the forum that applies when you are able. Going from 2 wheel to 3 wheels is different and takes some relearning so just give it a little time to get use to the 3 wheels. Once you get the hang of 3 wheels you'll love it. No more putting your foot down to hold the bike up when you come to a stop, the bike now holds you up. another big change will be when you go to reach for the hand brake and it's not there, the Spyder it's all in the foot brake (ABS and very good). Look at the different models of Spyders, do your research to see what model fits your needs best. Good Luck shopping I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
