• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear tyre

I will be getting a spider in Jan and as I have never had one before I need to ask advice on a few things, are the tyres tubed or not, as I wanted to put in a slime so as not to get a flat, I am 68 and have had bikes since my brother took me to see a film Easy Rider in 1969, we started on mopeds and scooters before moving on to biker bikes, and being Edinburgh lads we started going to the bike events in the UK before moving on the Europe, as the trips were long we had gold wings, and large BMW's sadly I lost him to cancer but I have great memories and photos of those great days, I have had a Harley sportster for 14 yeras but now its time to move on to a trike, and I have looked at the Goldwing and Harley trikes but the youtube reports on the spider are fantastic also I love the look of them, I now live in Poland and I would like to take the spider to the Uk next year, so any help or advice would be nice, The Jock ??

Welcome aboard Jock. :welcome:

As SpyderBOT alluded in the last sentence of its post, there's not much point in asking support questions here, but once all your joining processing is complete (your username will turn Blue, like SpyderBOT's ;) ) you can post up in the more frequented parts of the Forum - but you really should do a bit of Searching & reading first, but do tick the Search Titles Only box to narrow things down a little ;) (and please, if you do post in existing threads, don't use the 'Title' field, that really messes up searching on the Thread Titles. :sour: )

There's not really too much about Spyders that hasn't already been asked and at least touched upon in the discussion since the Forum first started up back in 2007/08, with tires and oil being amongst the most comprehensively discussed, argued about, and frequently raised subjects.

Again, Welcome.
