• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello from New Mexico!

Hi, Gang! Long time motorcycle rider here, but the knee isn't what it used to be....

So, for two up ops, the everlasting need to ride and be in the wind has me and the missus looking for a Spyder RT.

First question: aren't all real sports cars and bikes supposed to have a standard transmission? Hence my first struggle of finding a '19 or below SM6 in decent shape with low miles....

Am I out of shape thinking like this?

Anyway, thanks for having me...

Cheers,

Bobby

Welcome to the forum Walstibsf. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the different Models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. 2019 has the SE6, it is a 6 speed paddle shift, the clutch is run by hydraulics. you push the front paddle to shift up and pull on back paddle to down shift. The Spyder or any 3 wheel bike will take some getting use to if all you have ridden is 2 wheel bikes. But once you get use to the Spyder you will wish you had done it a long time ago, they lots of fun. Come to a red light and just sit a wait don't put your foot down to hold the bike up it holds you up while you sit back and wait. Oh one more thing, have you ever forgot to down shift then go to take off and your still in 2nd or 3rd gear no problem with the Spyder it will always down shift for you when you come to a stop so your always ready to go. So good luck with your research happy shopping make sure and check out the For Sale By Owner area of the forum and on our Home Page there is one of our Sponsors that offers free shipping and discounts on Spyders if you tell them you are a SpyderLovers members it's iMotorSports
