• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Greetings SteveA and 2010 Spyder RS at Melbourne Australia.

Hi All,
I am 69yo and had resisted buying a Spyder for more than 10years.
I rode my last motorcycle 800klm last Wednesday morning and rode a used 25000klm 2010 RS 800klm back to Melbourne without a break, through a horrid rain and hail storm half way back.
I have spent the last couple of days discovering the myriad if extras already installed, experimented with tyre pressures, Fox Podium preload, rear wheel preloaded, installed Rivco handle bar raisers, ram mount phone holder etc. The smile on my face each time around the block testing the various setting, is only inverted by the sadness and regret I feel for having missed out on this crazy fun for over 10years.
Thank you for the info and postings I read time and time again during the laboured decision making.
Cheers
SteveA
