Can't get the Key to unlock my Seat, it used to work

I had seem a thread on this in the forum, and someone had opened their latch for the seat with a long screwdriver, and wanted more details on how they did that .

Once I get it opened, I will try to lubricate it and test to see if key will open the latch or if problem with cam in key or cable problem, may even do as suggested and remove pin from seat .

Any help would be appreciated, also hoping in that tool kit is a bit to take screws out of panels.
