• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all,
As a 72 yr old dedicated HD rider since 19, I've reached that golden age whereby 2 wheels are no longer practical for me (according to my wife & kids ~ in fact they nicknamed me 'Tommy Tumbles'. Truth is I've gone from Ultra Classic's to my favorite Road King and yet they are still getting beyond my capability. Not ready to give up my love of riding, I'm about to transition to three wheels; much as I love Harley's their trikes are beyond my means and quite frankly am intrigued by the Can-Am Spyders (F3 & RT Limited's). I'm not a cross country rider but do like comfort and amenities. My wife has never had a desire to ride perhaps due to two wheels, so maybe I can convince her of the stability of the Spyder. I'm still in the research stage of purchase so this website and your experience will be a godsend as I am confused about the differences between the F3 & RT Limited's. Would like to purchase used (2016 +) due to price but if close to 2021 price would consider new (only F3 Limited). Any help you all could give me would greatly be appreciated. Will be reading the posts from now though purchase - probably early spring. Thanks much.

Welcome to the forum Papabean519. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here in the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. Coming from 2 wheels to 3 wheel will take some getting use too. Its not as easy as one might think. But once you get the feel of 3 wheel Spyder you will wish you did it a long time ago. you will be able to post in all the areas of the forum once they finish processing you into all the SpyderLovers systems. You will than be able to see all the photos and video posted and use the search function to search any subject you like. The F3L and the RTL sit very different from one another as you sit on them. As a Harley my gues3 is the F3L will sit more like a Harley. They say the RTL you sit on it and the F3L you sit in it. Now for two up the RTL is better than the F3L. The RTL has more room for the pilon and more storage. You can see all this info as you look around the the Forum. When you see your name turn blue you will be able to post in all areas of the forum, so repost your question about the two models in the General Discussions area of the forum when you can and other will speak up. Good Luck shopping I hope to see you around the forum soon. If you have a question just ask in the area of the forum that applies.
