G'day all

I'm not a Spyder owner but I have a friend with a 2010 spyder RT and he has an engine problem that seems is going to cost him around $10,000 in Australia to get the machine back on the road and maybe sell it for $12000.
I'm looking for answers for him but I will start a thread in the correct forum.
I live in Lithgow, NSW (my friend lives just out of town) and I'm sure I've browsed the forum in the past and found the information, I just forget so I will start a thread and hopefully experienced owners may be able to help me out.
