• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey

Hey y'all! Good to be part of the conversation.. I have a 2013 ST-S and a few questions and parts needs.

Just to get the questions flowing.. does anyone have a 3D scan for any of the plastic parts? I'm looking for the front fenders and am willing to print them if necessary.

Hi Khan, welcome to the Forum.

It's good to see you keen to get things started, but not too many readers come in here to see who's just joined, so as stated in Spyderbot's post, please
"Do NOT post support questions here, please post them in the appropriate forum once your account is approved."
Your username will turn Blue once all the processing is complete & your account activation is completed, & when that occurs, you'll be able to post in the Public Pages of the Forum.

That said, I don't think too many people will have tried 3D scanning anything on Spyders yet, let alone printing any parts for their Spyders, & especially not the fairly large Tupperware panels (as the plastic panels are often called) but maybe while you wait for that processing to be complete you could search on '3D Scan Files' or 3D Printing' & tick the 'Search Titles Only' box to bring up any threads that might apply? :dontknow: It always pays to at least try a Search first; after all, the Forum's been around for a fair while now, and most of the 'expected questions' will have already been asked & answered at least once! Besides, on a Forum like this, nothing's ever truly lost, you've just gotta be able to fine tune your search well enough to locate it! :ohyea:

And once you've got your first post out there, if you haven't found the answer by searching & doing a bit of reading, then you should be able to start a new thread in either the 'ST - Sport Touring' Discussion section/sub-forum or in the 'ST Shop Talk' Technical Support Forums section. It pays to briefly ask your question in the title if you can, as that'll invite more people interested in the question to come on in to see more detail about what you want to know, both now and whenever anyone else is searching for the same sort of info later on, maybe down track another 10 years or so?!

Over to you, & once again, welcome! :2thumbs: Looking forward to seeing you out there in the broader SpyderLovers Community soon!
