• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for having me!

Hello, and thanks for allowing me to join. I can’t wait to explore the forum and gain knowledge on all things Spyder as well as help anyone out in areas that I excel in, mainly electronics and technology. I am turning 43 this year and have 2 daughters, 1 who moved out 3 years ago and is on her own and 1 who is about to move out soon. I have been wanting a bike since I was a kid but life got in the way. Used to ride dirt bikes and 4-wheelers in my younger years (18-24) and have had my motorcycle endorsement for 11 years, just never owned a bike but gone on a few Harley and Triumph demo rides over the years. We purchased a boat 4 years ago and just never used it much (35 total hours on the motor in 4 years) so I decided it was time to sell the boat and was able to sell it in today’s market for more than what I paid for it 4 years ago so we put that money towards a new 2021 Spyder RT Limited - Asphalt Grey/Dark. I purchased it on Wednesday. Definitely going to get a lot more use out of this than the boat.

Looking forward to getting through this break in period and hitting the road for some trips and meeting other Spyder owners. If any of you are from the NC area, more specifically the north Raleigh/Wake Forest and surrounding area, we purchased the bike up at Brewer Cycles in Henderson. Hope to see some of you all out on the road!

:coffee: Welcome to the Spyder Forum.

I know you will enjoy your 2021 Spyder RT Limited. Just remember it usually takes about 3-4 months and about 1000 miles to learn your Spyder.

Ryde and Enjoy your Day. .......
