• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As SpyderBOT mentioned in his Welcome post at the top of this thread, Honor, you will need to wait until all your Joining Processing is complete - it shouldn't be too much longer; rarely takes much more than a day or so (there's only one person doing all the work there!;) ); and you'll be able to see when it's happened because your username will turn Blue, just like SpyderBOT's and most other Member's usernames.

In the meantime, you can get a LOT of helpful info from the Linked threads in SpyderBOT's post immediately above your first post here, and you should also be able to Search &/or read any of the numerous threads already here - there's not too much about Spyders that hasn't at least been mentioned, if not actually asked and often also answered about them in the 15+ years the Forum's been around; so even now, you should be able to find some help with most things :ohyea:

Looking forward to seeing you posting out there soon.
