• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the add

Haven't purchased a spider yet. I've been riding for 45 years. I presently ride a VTX 1800. I have had a couple of neck and lumbar operations. It's getting to painful to continue on 2 wheels for me. I need something with more support. I recently looked at a 2014 Spyder RTS limited SE6. Unfortunately it was sold before I got back. Now that I'm looking around I'm finding the Spyder very confusing with all its models. What is the best for comfort, if someone can help me out here ? Thx

Welcome to the forum Hogiewolf. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good infromation here on the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. You should post your question in the Spyder General Discussion area of the forum when you are able too. The most comfort depends on the person and only the person can tell for sure. For the most part the Spyder F3 Limited and Spyder RT Limited are the top two for comfort and they are different in many way but the same in a lot of ways to. They both run the same engine (1330 with 6 speed from 2015 and up) the F3L is a few inchs lower with a feet forward position and the RTL is a little higher sitting more up right seating position with nice floor boards. the RTL has auto adjust windscreen that is not on the F3L More storage on the RTL than the F3L. So you should go down to your local dealer and see is you can sit and maybe test ride each one out. The newer 2020 and up RT are a little different that some older 2014 to 2019 RT and the 2010 to 2013 RTL had the 998 twin engine in them. One just need to find their own what feels right; now having said that riding a 3 wheeler is a lot different that 2 wheels and will take you some time to get use too. Some take as many as 2000 miles before they get real comfortable. But coming to a stop is nice on a Spyder it holds you up as you wait for the light to change you don't have to put your foot down and hold the bike up. Good luck with your research. I hope to see you around the forum soon.

Man you don't know how helpful that was to me. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
I'm sure we'll chat in the forums in the future.
Thanks
