• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey

Just purchased my Dad's 2014 Spyder RT-S. Only 3,800 miles but... he is 85 years old. Left PA in 40 degree and rainy weather. Rode to near Clayton, NC, about 400 miles. No problems, just a little cool at the start. Averaged 40 mpg at 65-75 mph. Is that typical? I had it in Eco mode. MC has nice weather protection from the fairing and adjustable wind screen. I've been riding 2 and 3 wheelers since I was about 6 yrs old. Current ride is a HD Ultra-geezer glide. A big change in riding style going to the Spyder. Feels like I am going to high side on every corner! I used to take the HD trike around corners on 2 wheels but I don't think the Spyder will let me try that! I hope to learn a lot and contribute when I can. Take care and keep the rubber side down.
