• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

getting acquainted with my 2021 RT Limited

Retired as of 1,1,2020 but rode Gold Wings and BMW for the last 46+ years with over 300K miles under the belt. I have 1350 miles on the Spyder and must say it is a different ride. It is not a motorcycle to be sure, but learning about how to ride and handle the new machine by reading blogs on the issue. I decided on a Spyder due to being vertically challenged and having rotator cuff and a nerve transfer surgery, (still recovering). It's great to be back in the saddle again, feeling the wind in your face and looking for the next great road to ride.
In Arizona as a transplant from Minnesota and looking forward to year-round riding, now that I have wheels again. I know I have much to learn with this new toy so reading all the advice online is a great resource. Looking forward to the next 100K or whatever time is left.

God bless all and say safe.

Welcome to the forum Get2work. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On getting your first Spyder! You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage Area of the forum when you can. Yes the Spyder is Different than a 2 wheeler but once your get the hang of it you will love it. No more putting your foot down to hold the bike up every time you come to a stop, the bike now holds you up for a change! I hope to see you around the forum soon.
