• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Almost new to the Spyder Community

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a long-time rider and a past MSF Rider Coach. I am currently looking at purchasing a 2023 Spyder RTL in the near future (waiting to clear Physical Therapy for a total left shoulder replacement so I can test ride one). It just makes sense at this point in my life. I live in southern Minnesota, back home after being gone for most of my life. I have lived in California, Florida, North and South Dakota, and Alaska. I am retired military, serving in both the Marines and the Air Force, and a disabled vet. I am joining this forum because I am smart enough to know that I don't know everything, and I hope to learn from the vast amount of knowledge and experience of the members here. Let the fun begin and if and when I get my new Spyder, I will post it in the garage.

Welcome Dalmar, Nice intro, looking forward to riding with you when your shoulder heals, we should get some riding in before the roads ice and snow flies. There are several MN Spyder riders who ride all winter long, just on the nicer days when the roads clear.
