• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone - doing research

Hello everyone,

I've taken a decision that I might buy a new Spyder in 2025. It will be an F3 Limited Special Series or an RT Limited. I currently ride a Honda NC750X which I have no intentions of selling and I have never ridden a Spyder before. However, my wife will not ride on the NC and I also have a broken foot issue from a previous motorcycle accident that makes riding two wheels more difficult. I want to use the Spyder for commuting to work (30 miles a day), weekend rides, coffee shop visits and running errands. Although it would be fun and exciting, I don't have any desire/ability to do multi-day touring at this point.

From now until Spring, I will lurk and try to become educated on these machines. I've ridden motorcycles for 30+ years but not a super-dedicated.

- I'm in Ohio and two major dealers seem to ping - Johnny K Motorsports and Iron Pony Motorsports. Not sure if anyone has good/bad experience from either of these two relative to Spyder service.
- I would buy new and get the factory 5 year warranty. Does the warranty vary in price or is that cost non-negotiable?

All for now. I don't want to be obnoxious with questions my first post.
