I brought home my first Spyder today. A 2015 RT-Special. I got it so the wife and I can enjoy some time in the wind together.

I normally ride a 2012 Suzuki Vstrom and have 88,000 miles on her to date. I have covered nearly every state (48 contiguous) and two Canadian provinces. I want to complete my states (need only the far northeast) and add Alaska (arctic circle) in the not to distant future. I live in San Antonio so sometimes the first day of a trip barely gets my out of Texas.

This is our down season due to temps but we can usually ride the rest of the year. I'm looking forward to my new ride and logging some miles on her soon.

Welcome to the forum Akatheprofessor. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On the new to you 2015 Spyder RTS!! You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum when you get a chance to. Going from 2 wheels to 3 wheels will take a little getting use too, but once you get use to the 3 wheels you will love it and wish you had done that a long time ago. Nice to come to a stop and not have to put your foot down to hold the bike up, the bike holds you up, now that's nice! I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
