• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey! Please allow me to introduce myself...

I'm not sure if I can make it to Spyderfest yet, but I'm working on it. I would have to show up in an Isuzu Rodeo, haha.

Congratulations bro. If you can make Spyderfest, I'm sure nobody would be down on you for showing up on 4 wheels.

Mickey, so glad you joined the board and introduced yourself. I see you have already received your wonderful SpyderLover welcome. We are a good group and you can learn so many things from this group. I look forward to meeting you at Maggie Valley for sure, but I have to agree with so many others here. Spyderfest would be a wonderful start and we will welcome you, even on 4 wheels. I think due to a few cancelations, there are still a couple of rooms available. I can't wait to see your posts and videos. Once again :welcome: from dltang aka Deb Tangen

Congrats Mickey!

Way to go Mickey! I hope you get an RT-S. It's the best thing out there since you're going to be ryding a lot. Oh,, by the way, you might consider changing a few words in your vocabulary. Spyder, ryding, smyling etc. Just kidding Mickey! Enjoy the ryde. Hope to meet you someday.:clap::clap:

These two are getting Spyder RS bikes - not RT's

Well,,, excuse me. It must be nice to know everything. So why do they call them RT5? Do you know the answer to this one?

Welcome to the world of Spyder. A whole new ride (ryde), and, you'll find, a whole new language. You couldn't be connected to a better group of Ryders. You are about to travel through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. Welcome to the Spyder Zone. Glad to see you connecting with all the right people to get you started. Best of luck on your travels. I cannot think of a better representative of the Spyder than a new rider. And welcome to this forum. You'll connect with some of the best people, and get all the information you'll need (probably more than you can digest) right here. Again, welcome. If you're ever in the Waynesville, Missouri area, give us a buzz (oh, wait...bees buzz. Shoot us a web) we'll meet up somewhere for lunch or dinner. Our treat. Followed by ice cream, of course. :doorag:

congrats and I do hope you make it to spyderfest, would give you quite a leg up on what to expect from the spyder and the reaction you get from the general public.

:congrats: Mickey! I hope you love the Spyder as much as we all do. :)

Maybe we'll see you in Northern California in August for Spyders in the Redwoods??? :D

Don't know everything--- just know what I read when I first found out about the contest. I'm not aware that they are using the term RT5 for the new ambassadors---

Really looking forward to reading about their adventures on their new Spyders! :2thumbs:
