• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's my Battery cover access upgrade.

So instead of having to get out the T30 torx wrench to remove the M6x12mm bolts, I just replaced them with star handled knobs in white from amazon. They are easy to see when you unzip the liner to access that area (black also available). Of course a wing bolt or any other type of finger tightening fastener will do as long as it's M6 x12.

Smart. Much harder to lose than the stock bolts. Now you've just got to figure out what to do with the other 8 that came in the package.

Probably donate them to fellow spyder riders at a meet-up, I sure don't have any use for 8 more.

You can probably go down to the local hardware store and find those knobs individualy that just fit over the heads of the torx screws. They should be pretty cheap. We used to use those on our Ventures to not have to get a wrench to take off the seat. Take a screw with you to see if it fits.
