• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The final post on my 622 trailer saga from one year ago. One year ago I purchased a new '14 RT with matching 622 trailer from Pitbull Powersports/Springfield, MO. Bottom line was the trailer had a real affinity for tires...like every (averaged) 500 miles it wanted a new set. After the first set dealer says...hmmm must of been bad tire...replaced under warranty. But then set #2 wears out. Len & Vanessa (Pitbull Owners) say to BRP: "murphybrown trailer has a problem"..bottom line 6 sets of tires in 3000 miles...stopped at several dealers as I worked my way home....lots of emails/phone calls/ etc etc. But Pitbull never stopped working on my behalf. BRP worked with me. Finally last fall the trailer went to dealer, where it was confirmed...the trailer was wacko....so basically the shell was removed BRP sent dealer all new everything...it was rebuilt and then into my garage it went. First real test was coming back to Springfield for Spyderfest (2300+- miles). Started trip and every stop I was literally grabbing my tire tread measure thingy...wow first stop all good....and next 10 stops all GOOD .. feeling realllllly  so only measured tread once a day...last 1.5 day did NOT measure at all. The Pitbull crew (who had followed my last year challenges) were all over that trailer...looking for ANY issue they good find. I am here to announce...it was a yippy skippy day when all announced...:yes::clap::clap:. Then came the "real" critic, Spyderlovers who also wanted to make sure (and oh I love that kind of concern and support). AND yep . So huge thank you to Pitbull (Vanessa the head Pitbull, who locked her "jaw" on this issue) and Jasmin at BRP for getting 'er done. So hopefully you will never see another 'holy crap' trailer report from this Spyderlover. Thank you all for the encouragement and help. Hey I'm at Spyderfest...time to PARTY on....

Tire eating trailer

What a great outcome and fantastic attitude you have about the enTIRE ordeal! Thanks for sharing this story.
As a new Spyder rider and owner it good to read positive about BRP:yes:

More Patience Than A Saint

Your a 1%r. 99% of us would not have carried an issue like this off with such a calm and collected attitude. I would have imploded long ago. Thanks to you and other SLs, I became a new owner of a '15 RT Limited 10 days ago.
Looking at the sheer #of Spyders headed to Springfield, reminds me of our trip to Sturgis on our H-D. I'm going to pass on it this year. Not enough Spyder riding experience. I could only come for the weekend anyway, and I don't have a room. Hope you have a great time @SPYDERFEST. You deserve it.

Good to hear..!!

Still say they lost a bundle and dragged eveyone down with that issue. They should have cut their losses and given you a new trailer that would follow you like a puppy...:roflblack: ah but its great to know your trailer is well trained once again or for the first time...:roflblack:

Glad to hear your trailer issue is sol-ved, as Inspector C. would say.

You surely deserve an award for your patience and follow through with the whole scenario.
