... keeping in mind you'd lose the G sensor that automatically lights with any decel. That's where the BrakeFree and the like ... er ... shine ...

Then again, you're talking a big bunch of bucks for that sensor. ;-}

The bicycle industry has been making rechargeable flashing/strobing lights for bicyclists for years and years. Some even have turn signals, if that is your thing. Many are glue/stick on, some are bolt/clip on. Most are pretty cheap. For the $20 ones, think throw away and replace rather than repair.

I also have the "Brake Free" version. It does really well for me. Cost was almost $200 though.
