• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

help with dealer delete on gps..

A few years back I added a specific folder titled 'Spyder Dealers' on my garmin 765t. Does anyone know how to delete a folder (with all dealers) that you have added?

I've been through all the files/folders within the garmin folder that appear when I connect it to my mac. It is not under the .gpx folder and there is no .gpi folder; and it is not in any of the other files that I could see.

I've also have done a 'hard reset'; but, that only deletes the favorites.

I'm trying to do this b/c I downloaded the newest Can-Am Dealers that a member here provided; those are now under my favorites.

Thanks for any help.

Just a suggestion..!!

If you download the new dealers with the same title will it ask to replace the file..?? :dontknow:

There are two file names I know of "oempoi.gpi" and "spyderdealers.gpi". The file can be any where on your garmin, in the root directory, any folder, subfolder or SD card.

Thank you, thank you..................

It was under POI and I deleted both oempoi.gpi and 006d135900.gpi:thumbup:
