• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help with accessories.

I know if I search long enough I will find info, but...
I want a back rest for me, drink holders for both and arm rest for wife.
Any help appreciated. Thanks Paul

You can find a lot of accessories looking at the home page on this site.

You might want to wait on the backrest until you're sure that you're satisfied with the stock seat. Most of the seat manufacturers offer their own backrest that won't fit the others. I have the Ultimate Seat with their backrest and rear passenger armrests. Corbin and Big Bike Parts also make rear passenger armrests. The Ultimate Seats rear passenger armrests offer a rear passenger cupholder as well.

I think there is a company called Grasshopper that makes compatible backrests for the stock seats, as does Can-Am.

I have a front cup holder from Baker Air Wings that I like. http://www.bakerbuilt.com/bbairwings/rigiddrink.html

Big Bike parts makes a device that essentially gives you a few inches of 1" handlebar you can use to mount standard handlebar-mounted items to, and JT's machine shop (look at sponsors) makes a clever device that mounts on the upper dashboard and gives you 5 holes that can be used for RAM Mounts, and is probably suitable for a cup holder.

cup holder

I have been using a drink holder called "Drink-2-Go" that has worked very well for me and was less than $15 and the owner, Paul has been great to work with.

+1 for Diamond R Armrests

I recently bought these for our RT...they look awsome and my wife loves them!

I added the cup holder from the Victory we had (traded for the Spyder)...Diamond R makes a cup holder that gets good reviews so you may want to check it out too (although it's a little expensive compared to the options mentioned earlier in this thread).

Back Rest

I just put a Utopia on my 2014 RT-S and it looks like it came with the bike and is very comfortable. Easy instructions, even a mechanic dummy like me was able to install without removing the seat.

+1 on the Utopia backrest. I don't have one on my Spyder yet but I have used them for my RSTD and again on my RSV and loved them.I will be going back to them for the Spyder.

I wonder if Allen and Patti could cut those new armrest struts without the Spyder in the middle of them? :yikes:
Arachnophobia is a real bitch... :banghead:
