• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help find a bearing !!

Thanks to all for the help I found the bearing number

Brp part #420832144 = a bearing ID#6304TN9/C4 (SKF brand made in Italy)

The C4 in the ID# is important, that is the clearance tolerance within the bearing. This is a press fit bearing so a ordinary 6304 bearing would not be exactly the right fit.FYI

Good work... so did you get one then?

It would be nice to come up with a database cross-reference for as many Spyder bearings as we can figure out.

I should have the bearings 11A.M. Monday, couldn't agree with you more on a database for bearings, bolts, any hardware for that matter. My heavy equipment parts manuals almost always give sizes ,ID#'s etc. to help you find the part you need. However I do understand the difference between toy and tool, standard hardware info should be readily available IMHO;)

awsome jim, your the man.
1 Step closer to getting :spyder2:back:thumbup:

Bearing landed at dealer today,exact match to O.E.M. SKF 6304TN9/C4 amazing a dirt digger from Iowa found it but BRP is still on B/O. I'll just file this in case I need to deal with any...Well I'll just file it :thumbup:

In case you were wondering how I found the ID# found a :spyder2: torn down for other reasons, read # off bearing. Thanks BRP for the extraordinary effort to get me the ID# :lecturef_smilie::dontknow::mad:you (BRP) really let me down on this one. Still love the:spyder2: just hate red tape.

But thanks to all my Spyderlover buddies your help and kind words as always is awesome.
I should be running by Friday at the latest.

Glad to hear to tracked it down and will be back up and running soon! :thumbup:

Thanks for sharing your find with us!

Jim;
Glad to hear you got the bearing. I'm suure you and SethO will remember the first Missouri Rendezvous for more than the fun and camaraderie that we had. At least, up 'til now, there haven't been that many enjoyable dry days here in our part of the midwest!
